Scott Moody & Frances McFaddin Moody share a partnership of photography design and technical expertise on Hilton Head Island, SC. There is no art without passion and photography is our passion. Capturing personal expressions and creating lasting portraits that take us back in time is what we do. Our images will transport you to significant days and significant events: weddings to christenings, engagements, graduations, family reunions, or carefree summer days of children on the beach.

Our Story

Scott Moody was born in Saudi Arabia and grew up with a camera in his hand. As the son of an award-winning photographer he gathered industry experience with photography layouts and corporate work, while traveling around the world. Scott earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Photography and his fulltime career as a professional photographer was underway. He established Pro Photo, Inc. on Hilton Head Island, SC in 1985, offering a full range of studio and location photographic services. Today, the studio features state of the art equipment and lighting for portrait, photo design and corporate photography. A multi award-winning professional photographer, Scott has received national and international acclaim. The studio gallery, on Hilton Head Island, showcases the wide range on his talents from wedding photography, to family, children and beach portraits. Scott's signature nature and wildlife photography and Lowcountry art series are also on display. He maintains an extensive array of stock images available for purchase.

Frances McFaddin Moody has always had a strong interest in the visual arts. With a family background of artists and interior designers, Frances grew up learning to love and appreciate the arts. She holds a Psychology degree and a Masters of Education in Clinical Counseling. Frances brings her love of working with people to each design project she works on with her husband, Scott. With her relaxed manner, and skilled background, Frances puts everyone at ease, utilizing natural poses and classic takes on simple moments.

Portrait Photography

The mission of Scott and Frances McFaddin Moody is to work with you to create your desired images. You are invited to visit their Hilton Head Island studio and gallery. This will give you confidence in the products they create and can provide the Moody's with a sense of what images you respond to and wish to incorporate into your portraits.

For environmental, on location, or beach portraits, careful consideration will determine date and time of your session. On Hilton Head Island, early dusk, or sunrise is ideal for seaside or beach portraits. Other times of day or evening are suited to other low country portrait locations.

Scott and Frances work efficiently while providing clients with as much time as it takes for the session. They create beautiful portraits and have a great time in the process.

Studio portraits offer great versatility, with props and backgrounds to create vignettes as well as traditional professional photography. Many family traditions begin with baby christening, children and family portraits. Whether you prefer classic portraiture or favor a more light-hearted approach, Scott and Frances McFaddin Moody will find the right style to capture your personal spirit, with an image that says 'you'. When you walk by your child or family's portrait, displayed in your home, the Moody's want you to smile with pleasure knowing they captured their unique personality.

Services available after your session include assistance in selecting your images by offering Scott and Frances McFaddin Moodys design experience and creativity. Digital photography enhances the process, allowing you access to on line images for proofing and selection in a timely manner. Projected viewing of your images is available in the Hilton Head Island studio. Assisting you in preserving and displaying your photographs is also a part of the professional photography process. Framing and matting services are available for all images from your bridal engagement portrait, or wedding signature mat, to your family beach or studio portrait.

Studio sessions provide the professional atmosphere necessary to achieve corporate project needs, with proper lighting and top of the line equipment. Creating the perfect environment is critical to catalog work, product shots, and business portraits. The Moody's Hilton Head Island studio has everything you need.

Location and Environmental sessions, on and around Hilton Head Island for business conventions, award ceremonies, school and university events or graduations can be covered by Pro Photo, INC. The Moody's work reflects each client's needs and desires as requested.
